Job summary

Signarama Laurel, MD is seeking a Production and Design Specialist to design, produce, and install high-quality signage. You will use software and production machines to craft vinyl, digital, and exterior signs while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves operating laminators, plotters, and saws, traveling locally for site assessments, and maintaining a tidy, well-organized workspace. Training is provided to grow in design, production, and sales skills.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with computers and eager to learn new design and POS software.
• Strong mathematical and spelling skills.
• Proficiently use measurement tools.
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks including lifting over 80 lbs and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Design various signs including vinyl, digital, and exterior products using advanced tools.
• Operate production equipment such as laminators, plotters, panel saws, and trimmers.
• Represent our brand professionally in-store and during on-site installations.
• Maintain a neat workspace and keep equipment in top condition.
• Travel locally to assess sites, provide estimates, and perform installations.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure seamless production processes.
