Job summary

Alpha FMC is seeking a Sigma Business Intelligence Architect to join our growing North America team. You will design scalable analytics solutions and lead end-to-end Sigma deployments for client reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technology consulting, strong data engineering and BI tool proficiency (Sigma, SQL, PowerBI/Tableau). Travel as needed; contribute to governance and cloud-first delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS / MIS or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in technology consulting or related fields.
• Proven end-to-end implementation experience for client reporting or data transformation.
• Experience with Snowflake, Data Bricks, SQL Server or Oracle and data modeling.
• ETL/ELT data integration experience.
• Data architecture expertise.
• SQL, XML, C#, .NET, or Assembly proficiency.
• Strong data governance, lifecycle management and quality frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client relations skills.
• Experience with BI/reporting platforms (Sigma, PowerBI, Tableau, SSRS, Qlik).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Sigma analytics deployments including discovery, architecture, data source integration, and knowledge transfer.
• Create semantic layers and data models in Sigma for self-service analytics.
• Define project plans and SOWs for successful implementations.
• Design intuitive dashboards and reports translating business requirements.
• Govern project implementation with status updates and budget monitoring.
• Build and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers, analysts, and implementers.
• Ensure documentation and development align with specs and cloud standards.
• Promote best-practice methodologies (SDLC, data migration, integration patterns).
• Contribute to internal accelerators and BI framework propositions.
• Willingness to travel as required.
