Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sigma Developer to design, develop, and support business intelligence and reporting solutions using Sigma Computing, Snowflake, and modern cloud data platforms. This role will partner with business stakeholders, data teams, and reporting teams to deliver scalable dashboards, KPI reporting, and self-service analytics solutions that drive informed decision‑making.

Our Sigma platform is built around Snowflake, semantic data models, governed self-service reporting, and large-scale report modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Sigma dashboards, workbooks, and reporting solutions.
• Build and optimize KPI, operational, management, and executive reporting.
• Develop and maintain semantic data models and reusable reporting assets.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries against Snowflake data sources.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Support migration and modernization efforts from Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, and legacy reporting platforms into Sigma.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, security, and adherence to reporting standards.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, and performance issues.
• Promote self-service analytics best practices and end-user adoption.
• Document solutions, data definitions, and development standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Reporting experience.
• 2 years of hands‑on Sigma Computing development experience.
• Strong SQL development skills.
• Strong experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with data modeling and semantic layer design.
• Experience building dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of reporting governance, security, and data quality practices.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating requirements into solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating reports from Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, or other BI platforms to Sigma.
• Experience with financial services, asset management, or investment reporting.
• Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms and analytics architectures.
• Exposure to AI-assisted analytics, Sigma AI capabilities, Snowflake Cortex, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing executive-level reporting and analytics solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of BI and reporting experience.
• Expert in SQL, Snowflake, and data modeling.
• Strong Sigma Computing developerwith experience building enterprise-scale dashboards.
• Experience designing semantic layers and governed self-service analytics solutions.
• Background in Tableau, Power BI, or other enterprise BI platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technology teams.
