Job summary

Blue Wheel Media is seeking a Sigma Analytics Developer (Contractor) to design, build, and optimize scalable reporting and analytics solutions in the Sigma platform. You will work with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to create semantic models, dashboards, workflows, and self-service reporting capabilities that drive operational and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics development, or data reporting.
• Hands-on experience building solutions within Sigma Computing.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational data models.
• Experience working with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with BI and analytics best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dashboards, workbooks, and analytical applications in Sigma.
• Build scalable reporting solutions that support business and operational KPIs.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop reusable datasets, calculations, and reporting frameworks.
• Optimize existing Sigma assets for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Create interactive visualizations and drill-through experiences for end users.
• Support data model design and validation in partnership with data engineering teams.
• Establish reporting standards, governance practices, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and reporting discrepancies.
• Train and support users on Sigma best practices and self-service analytics capabilities.

About the Role
