Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems is seeking linguists to join the MDLA cadre for the LADP or direct hire, focusing on language analysis and cryptolinguistic tasks. You will support policymakers and leaders by analyzing, transcribing, and translating critical information across the IC.

The program, up to three years, includes multiple tours, formal training, and on-the-job experience in SIGINT analysis, with emphasis on foreign language materials and cryptology-related duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• At least one year of relevant language or non-language experience.
• Full Performance/Senior levels require leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and leadership.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to support intelligence work.
• Synthesize large data sets and disparate sources for analytic insight.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights.
• Collaborate across NSA and other agencies in research and reporting.
