Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems is seeking linguists to join NSA's MDLA program, or direct-hire into analytic roles supporting SIGINT. You will analyze, transcribe, and translate material to aid policymakers and military leaders, while exploring cultural contexts and evolving tech trends.

LADP offers intensive language-adjacent training across multiple tours, with emphasis on analytic ability in foreign language materials. Proficiency and security considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or related language work.
• Background in intelligence analysis or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and leaders.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to inform analysis.
• Develop creative solutions to synthesize large data sets and sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Produce written and oral assessments with unique insights for IC partners.
• Work independently and with NSA and IC analysts on research and reporting.
