Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced MES Engineer focused on Siemens Opcenter to support implementation, configuration, integration, and production support activities across manufacturing environments.

You will collaborate with ERP, shop-floor, and PLC/SCADA systems to ensure seamless data flow and process alignment, while performing troubleshooting and ensuring stable MES operations. This role emphasizes hands-on MES expertise and manufacturing domain understanding.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter MES required.
Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and deploying Opcenter MES.
Ability to integrate Opcenter with ERP, shop-floor, PLC/SCADA and other manufacturing systems.
Strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities.
SQL/database knowledge relevant to MES workflows.
Background in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Support implementation, configuration, integration, and production support for Opcenter MES.
Coordinate with ERP and shop-floor systems for smooth data flow and process alignment.
Troubleshoot issues and provide rapid on-site or remote assistance.
Maintain and optimize MES configurations to support manufacturing processes.
