Job description

We are ramping up our expanding service and maintenance team with experienced Wind Turbine Service Technicians for site-based activities on Siemens Offshore Wind Farms in Germany.

Duties:

1. Participate in maintenance and servicing wind turbine generators.
2. Perform Commissioning and Troubleshooting tasks.
3. Major Component Exchange.
4. Corrective Maintenance.
5. Check and supervise that quality measures and safety instructions are being respected.
6. Check and supervise the selection and usage of special tools and equipment.
7. Participate in training organized by GWS.
8. Plan your own work ahead.
9. Inspection and maintenance of safety gear, company cars, tools and other GWS properties.

Requirements:

1. You have experience in service and maintenance on Siemens G4 turbines.
2. You will have SGTT training.
3. SGRE Team Leaders will have Level 5 authorisation/nomination.
4. You have completed a mechanical/technical/electrical education.
5. Your English is at communication level.
6. You are cooperative, communicative, open-minded, and flexible – with respect for others and other cultures.
7. Capable of working at remote sites in adverse weather conditions.
8. Ability and willingness to travel and work domestically and internationally as required.
9. Ability and confidence to work at height (includes physical fitness to climb).
10. Professional with a high emphasis on Quality and Safety.
11. Clean drivers’ licence and ability to obtain a Passport.
12. You are an EU citizen.
13. Valid GWO training and OGUK Medical Fitness certificate.
