We are expanding our service and maintenance team with experienced Wind Turbine Service Technicians for site-based activities on Siemens Offshore Wind Farms in Germany.

Duties:

1. Participate in maintenance and servicing of wind turbine generators.
2. Perform commissioning and troubleshooting tasks.
3. Execute major component exchanges.
4. Conduct corrective maintenance.
5. Check and supervise that quality measures and safety instructions are being respected.
6. Check and supervise the selection and usage of special tools and equipment.
7. Participate in training organized by GWS.
8. Plan your own work ahead.
9. Inspect and maintain safety gear, company cars, tools, and other GWS properties.

Job requirements:

1. Experience in service and maintenance on Siemens G4 turbines.
2. SGTT training.
3. SGRE Team Leaders will have Level 5 authorization/nomination.
4. Completed mechanical/technical/electrical education.
5. Communication-level English skills.
6. Cooperative, communicative, open-minded, and flexible, with respect for others and other cultures.
7. Ability to work at remote sites in adverse weather conditions.
8. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
9. Ability and confidence to work at heights (including physical fitness to climb).
10. High emphasis on quality and safety.
11. Clean driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.
12. EU citizen.
13. Valid GWO training and OGUK Medical Fitness certificate.
