Job summary

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation in Two Harbors is seeking a Siding Utility to support the Siding Line Operator. You will participate in final product inspection, packaging, and relief, learning Siding Line Operator skills under supervision.

This on-site role requires 3 months of experience and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Pay is $28.20 per hour, and you will help maintain quality, safety, and efficiency on the mill line.

Qualifications

• Time management skills.
• Knowledge of line position duties and functions.
• Knowledge of general plant clean-up and utility functions.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months experience required.

Responsibilities

• Grade and package finished product with correct labeling and banding.
• Provide general relief in support of line positions during breaks, vacations or open positions.
• Perform general clean-up and utility duties under daily direction of the supervisor.
• Responsible for the quality and quantity of product in coordination with the Siding Line Operator.
• responsible for final quality check of all boards and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Fill out the required paperwork completely.
• Relieve Finishing Dept Operator, Trucker and Grader for breaks.
• Assist with adjustments to and services the paint systems as directed by the Siding Line Operator.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor or Siding Line Operator.
