Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) in Washington, DC. Night shift, 12-hour blocks, 13-week assignment. Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2 in SICU, with ventilated patients and central lines common.

Requires minimum 2 years SICU experience (4 years preferred), valid state RN license, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications. Weekend coverage every other week; ability to float within scope. Facility is Magnet, Level 1 Trauma services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years SICU experience; 4 years preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Charge experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Valid State RN license required at time of submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-trauma and surgical SICU patients.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Weekend coverage required every other week.
• Manage ventilated patients and central lines as needed.
• Interpret ABG and dysrhythmias; monitor blood products and procedural sedation.
