Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a registered nurse for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at a major Boston hospital. The role involves high-acuity patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and commitment to ongoing education and certification in areas like TNCC/CCRN.

The position requires RN licensure in MA, at least one year of nursing experience, and strong clinical judgment. Onsite location at 267 Charles Street with rotating day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• BSN strongly preferred
• minimum of one year of nursing experience
• Surgical experience will be considered, ICU experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
