Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure exceptional outcomes.

The RN will educate patients and families, document care, and contribute to quality initiatives while adhering to standards of practice and hospital policies. This role emphasizes advocacy, compassion, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license/registration in applicable state.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in the Surgical ICU.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to design and adjust care plans.
• Document care accurately in patient records and contribute to quality initiatives.
