Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care within the ICU team. You will collaborate with providers and teammates to implement care plans, educate patients and families, and promote exceptional clinical outcomes.

Eligible candidates hold an RN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and must obtain ACLS and BCLS within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN – Licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record per provider orders.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, plan, medications and side effects.
• Explains non‑medicinal follow‑up, diet, exercise, prevention and self‑management.
• Applies evidence‑based practices to improve quality and outcomes.
• Collaborates with the care team to coordinate and customize treatment plans.
