Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking an experienced Critical Care/ICU RN for St. Joseph Hospital's CCU on Long Island. You will assess and monitor highly acute patients, administer medications, document progress and coordinate with a broad care team to optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in RN step-down/critical care settings, NY RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certification; BSN preferred and telemetry experience is a plus. This is a hospital-based role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience in a Step Down Unit at an acute care facility
• 1+ years of RN experience in Critical Care (ICU, CCU, SICU, MICU) preferred
• BSN strongly preferred
• New York RN license & registration required
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, administer medications, document progress, and manage care for highly acute and critical patients
• Partner with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Advocate for patients and families through safety intervention, education and support
