Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Nurse Extern PRN SICU to join the nursing team under RN supervision. The role supports patient care and daily living activities, with the extern advancing as competency improves.

The position requires enrollment in an accredited RN program, current BLS, and readiness to complete Crisis Intervention within 30 days. This is a PRN, on-site opportunity with Parkridge Medical Center as part of HCA Healthcare.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification current.
• Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program.
• Can be considered for Nurse Extern after completion of first nursing semester or CNA in first semester of RN program.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department.
• Communicate pertinent information to appropriate individuals.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
• Document patient care information in the appropriate computer screens.
• Assist with ADL’s for assigned patients.
