Job summary

Qualifications

• ASLS or GSCC and NIHSS must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• ACLS must be obtained prior to completing unit orientation.
• 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school (Required).
• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and practices.
• Assess patients and develop plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Maintain knowledge through ongoing education and competency evaluations.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory in-services as required.
