Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the SICU on a 0.90 FTE overnight shift, with every third weekend duties. Under RN supervision you will help with activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen collection, and rounding; you will maintain a clean patient environment and document in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry at hire or eligibility.
• One semester of nursing clinical rotation or enrollment in Hennepin program.
• Up to 6 months acute nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and hygiene.
• Respond to call lights and relay needs to RN.
• Perform vital signs, I&O, and basic procedures as trained.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and assist with transport.
• Document actions in the EHR and support patient care team.
