Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking an SI Leader to support students in historically difficult courses. The role involves attending the same class daily, taking notes, and helping students study effectively under supervision from faculty.

The position is a part-time student role with a pay rate of $15.00/hour, up to 28 hours per week, and requires a high school diploma or GED with some college coursework. Pre-employment background checks will apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Some college coursework completed.
• Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and have an A or B in the targeted class.

Responsibilities

• Participate in SI Leader Training.
• Attend all class sessions and serve as a model student.
• Conduct group study sessions.
• Collaborate with faculty; integrate content and learning skills.
• Collect data for program evaluation.
