Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. in Rochester, MN is hiring for a full-time manufacturing/production associate. The role prepares products for systems level assembly, disassembles and repairs units, and enters data in the Process Feedback System. A high school diploma and at least 2 years SI experience are required.

Work schedule is Shift 1, M-Th 05:30–16:00, with potential overtime to support a 24/7 global operation. Equity benefits include a bonus plan, 401(k), PTO and health/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of SI experience.
• Ability to perform repair or test; some heavy mechanical assembly.
• Good component recognition skills and basic computer skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills and high attention to detail.
• Discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when representing the company.
• Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation; overtime as needed.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for systems level assembly including unpacking, set-up, assembly and final packaging.
• Access paperwork and drawings for each job assignment; verify kits and label items.
• Enter data into PFS and link subassemblies to the final unit.
• Follow manufacturing routings and process instructions under supervision.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble units in certified operations.
• Operate and check equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers) for performance.
