Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc is seeking a full-time manufacturing/production assembler in Rochester, MN. The role involves preparing products for systems-level assembly, unpacking, setup, final packaging, and repair as needed, with a focus on quality and documentation.

Responsibilities include following paperwork and drawings, labeling parts, using standard tooling, and entering data into the production systems. A High School Diploma is preferred; 1+ year SI assembly experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in basic SI assembly (new build lines, subassembly/final assembly)
• Good component recognition skills
• Understanding of basic computer skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate high attention to detail
• Discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare subassemblies and final units per drawings and instructions
• Verify paperwork, batch/label components as required
• Use required tools, mats, and process instructions
• Check equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers) for proper performance
• Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
