Acadian Ambulance Service in Jackson, MS is seeking a full-time Shuttle Van Operator to support patient transport and related duties in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

You will conduct vehicle checks, maintain supplies, assist medical personnel, and ensure safe and efficient transfers. Excellent driving skills, CPR certification, and clear communication are essential to provide quality service daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Current and valid state-issued driver s license (Louisiana Class D equivalent).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally.
• Ability to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions.
• Skilled in the use of maps and knowledge of driving rules for non-emergency situations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate with healthcare staff.

Responsabilités

• Maintain shuttle van inventory and perform equipment testing.
• Document and report repairs to maintenance and supervisors.
• Record daily transportation logs and patient/non-patient documentation.
• Assist other medical personnel with patients as needed.
• Provide safe and efficient patient transfer to destinations.
• Follow FCC regulations when using electronic communications.
• Attend mandatory meetings and complete assigned duties.
• Order supplies to replenish shuttle van inventories.
