Qualifications

• Must have EMT-Basic certification and CPR.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of company protocols and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic life support before and during transport within licensure limits.
• Safely manage patient handling and ambulance transport to medical facilities.
• Document patient condition, treatment, and non-medical information on EMS run reports.
• Maintain and test equipment; order supplies as needed and ensure vehicle readiness.
• Operate ambulance safely following driving guidelines and company policies.
• Precept or mentor new EMT-Basics or students when assigned.

Education
