Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Des Moines, IA is seeking a responsible driver to transport beneficiaries and employees, representing The Salvation Army with professionalism. This part-time position requires safe vehicle operation and courteous service to all passengers.

  • Passing grade on the "Coaching the Experienced Driver" self-study course (or willing to complete).
  • Valid driver's license to operate location's truck types.
  • Clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) report.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and helpers.
  • Basic math skills.

Location: Des Moines, IA
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 20 hours per week. Must have flexible scheduling, Monday - Saturday
