Job summary

Swisslog is seeking a Shuttle System Technician to maintain our CycloneCarrier shuttle AS/RS at a customer site in the Kansas City area. You will perform scheduled maintenance on shuttle vehicles, rail systems, and lift mechanisms, diagnose communication faults, and manage spare parts inventory for the system.

Requirements include 3+ years of experience with automated storage or complex conveyors, strong electrical skills, and PLC experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with automated storage systems or complex conveyor systems.
• Strong electrical skills including servo drive and encoder troubleshooting.
• Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLC platforms.
• Ability to work at heights within racking structures.
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on shuttle vehicles, rail systems, and lift mechanisms.
• Diagnose communication faults within the Shuttle AS/RS system.
• Manage spare parts inventory for the system.
