The purpose of the Shuttle Driver Trainee-DOT is to train in the pickup and delivery of daily routes, returning empty trailers to the warehouse for reloading.

• Train to become a safe and courteous shuttle driver, demonstrating BEK principles during interactions with the public and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of tractors and trailers.
• Adhere to FMCSA laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Ensure trailers and tractors are adequately fueled and maintained.
• Occasionally complete deliveries to and from the warehouse or shuttle site as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• At least 6 months of DOT driving experience required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Doubles endorsement.
• Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn internal applications.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to follow instructions and lift/move up to 90 pounds occasionally.
