• Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles.
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers via radio.
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements.
• Recording passenger counts and trip times.
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations.
• Assisting in equipment setup and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.).
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness.
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

We are seeking shuttle drivers to work in the Worcester area. These are steady, local routes. We operate walk-on 14-passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL - however, if you have a CDL you get paid extra and are encouraged to apply!

Non-CDL drivers earn $20/hour to start. Applicants who already have a CDL (w/ P endorsement) earn $24/hour to start.

VPA offers weekly payroll - get a check, direct deposit, or a pay card each week!

Currently, we are seeking PT year-round drivers to work 7am-12pm Monday through Friday.

We will consider staff who can work 2, 3, or 5 shifts per week.

Other hours are also available to create a FT role if so desired.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

• Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can

• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
• Recording passenger counts and trip times
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
• Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.)
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations

Due to our insurance regulations, shuttle drivers must be at least 20 years old.

A valid DOT Medical card is also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary - a simple DOT physical).

Professional driving experience is a plus.
