Job summary

Dallas Fort Worth Airport Marriott, a premier hotel adjacent to DFW International Airport, is hiring a friendly Bellperson. You will greet guests, assist with luggage, and safely shuttle guests to and from the airport and hotel facilities.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent guest service, knowledge of hotel services, upselling amenities, and responding to requests within minutes. A valid state driver’s license, ability to lift 10–25 pounds, and willingness to work varied shifts

Qualifications

• Proven experience with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to handle guest complaints and/or concerns.
• Must be able to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and hold doors, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
• Carry luggage to the guest's room and assist with transportation via shuttle as needed.
• Safely drive the hotel shuttle van and know hotel facilities and hours.
• Suggest and sell hotel amenities (restaurant, lounge, spa, etc.).
• Respond to bell service requests within minutes (2 minutes as target).

Job Description

What you will be doing

• Greet all guests arriving and departing the hotel, hold the front doors as they enter and exit. Ensure guests feel welcome to the hotel, and provide excellent guest service.
• Carry baggage to the guest's room. Accurately tag and store luggage for guest as needed and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing luggage.
• Safely drive the hotel shuttle van.
• Have knowledge of the hotel property, hotel staff and hotel services, with hours of operation. Give clear and accurate directions to hotel facilities and rooms, as well as local area attractions.
• Suggest and "sell" the amenities of the hotel (i.e restaurant, lounge, spa, etc).
• Respond to request for bell services within 2 minutes.

What we are looking for

• Highwork ethic and self-initiative, ability to work in high pressure situations.
• Maybe required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proven experience with strong customer service skills, including ability to handle guest complaints and/or concerns.
• Possessa valid state driver's license (or chauffeur's license if required) and safely drive guest vehicles and/or shuttle van. Have proof of safe driving record as indicated by Motor Vehicle Record.

• Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
• Ability to work in a standard office environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
• Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
• Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
