Responsibilities include documenting trips, maintaining safety and vehicle readiness, and coordinating with dispatch and healthcare teams. Requirements include a CA driver’s license, a CPR card, and being 21 or older.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to operation and dispatch requests to transport customers to and from facilities.
• Document trip information details and follow company policies while protecting patient privacy.
• Maintain a safe, clean vehicle environment; complete the vehicle checklist at shift start and report issues to Fleet Manager.
• Use standard radio transmission codes to communicate and route patients while following information security standards.
• Operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, and wheelchair; handle PPE and disposal of supplies as needed.
• Collaborate professionally with health and public safety personnel and fellow drivers and operations team.

We’re hiring Drivers that will respond to emergency and/or non-emergency requests for transportation needs and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Drivers will respond to operation and dispatch requests and use the necessary tools, maps and addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
• Clearly document trip information details and adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in maintaining a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
• Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company’s information security standards.
• Drivers will operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair as well as be able to use protective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow drivers and operations team.
