Job Summary Details:

The Shuttle Driver transports passengers to and from designated locations, which may include airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, or warehouses.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• Valid Driver's License
• This role may require a CDL with specific class and endorsement

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of prior experience as a passenger shuttle driver is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Transport, load, and unload passengers at designated pick-up and drop-off points
• Ensure safe loading and unloading, including handling specialized equipment for passengers with needs, such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs
• Assist passengers with luggage as needed
• Regularly inspect vehicles for unsafe conditions or maintenance issues; perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities
• Assist patrons at airport locations and parking lots
• Inspect shuttles for preexisting damage and record information using electronic devices or manual logs
• Provide excellent customer service, respond courteously to inquiries, and give directions as needed
• Maintain and execute bus evacuation procedures when necessary
• Report incidents or claims promptly to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment, keep fuel logs
• Keep shuttle environment clean and disinfected after each use
• Conduct pre- and post-inspections to ensure proper operation, safety standards, and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
