Job summary

Navarre Corporation is seeking a Wheelchair Transport Driver to serve Worcester or Springfield, MA. You will operate a company vehicle to transport veterans safely and reliably, follow time schedules, and provide compassionate, professional customer service.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, securing wheelchairs, assisting passengers on and off the vehicle, loading luggage, reporting any issues to dispatch, and ensuring a safe travel experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work various shifts and overtime if needed.
• Ability to properly secure wheelchairs and assist passengers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-provided shuttle/sedan safely and reliably.
• Transport veterans within designated service area and schedule.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist passengers, including those using mobility aids, in boarding/alighting.
• Secure wheelchairs and scooters; load and secure luggage.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and complete reports as required.
