Paycom - ATS is seeking a Van/Shuttle Driver for Crowne Plaza - Asheville, NC. You will transport hotel guests to/from designated destinations using the property vehicle in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction by following all policies.

Responsibilities include logging trips, inspecting vehicles, assisting guests, and maintaining a professional appearance; weekend or evening shifts may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Van/ Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting hotels guests to/from assigned destinations using property vehicle in a timely and courteous manner. Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Job Duties

• Check Shuttle Log/ shuttle board and check for special shuttle requirements or discounts;


• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards;


• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation;


• Document all trips prior to the start of and at the conclusion of each trip;


• Inspect property vehicle for damage and ensure both the interior and exterior of the vehicle are clean, neat and ready at the start of and the end of each shift;


• Check tire pressure and fluid levels for property vehicle and refuel as necessary;


• Ensure that all lights, signals, mirrors, brakes, seat belts, etc. are functioning and in good working condition;


• Ensure supplies are present and stocked (i.e., First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, flashlight, water, etc.);


• Notify appropriate personnel of any vehicle maintenance needs.


• Document all property vehicle incidents (i.e., damages, accidents) and provide reports of incidents to manager;


• Report all injuries, minor and major, and unsafe work conditions to manager;


• Comply with company quality assurance expectations and standards.


• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;


• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.


• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Valid Class E Driver’s License with clean driving records with no major violations


• Ability to maintain composure and demonstrates ability to be flexible and adaptable


• Ability to complete and maintain safety training and certifications


• Basic working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair


• Genuinely enjoys working with the staff and our valued guest


• Proven dependable with a good attendance record


• Desire to deliver outstanding customer service


• Ability to speak clearly and communicate professionally with guest, associates, and others


• Ability to answer phones/pagers/two-way radios, etc. using appropriate etiquette


• Completing all checklists and duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time


• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting and carrying supplies weighting up to 50 pounds.


• May be exposed to hazardous cleaning chemicals and supplies.


• May be exposed to individuals under the influence of alcohol.


• Depending on business demands this individual may be required to work weekend/ evening hours and/or perform additional job responsibilities.


• May be exposed to severe weather and driving conditions


• Clean and neat appearance required, uniforms to be worn as required by brandstandards.
