Job summary

The Parking Spot is seeking a Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL) for Afternoon & Evening, Full-Time. This role transports customers between the parking facility and the airport, while upholding safety and courtesy.

Requirements include being 21+, a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, valid licenses for a commercial vehicle, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position offers stable schedules, tips, and eligibility for a shared employee ownership program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Satisfactory driving record per the Employee Handbook.
• Licenses/badges required by authorities to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Willing to pass a physical per airport/DOT/state rules.
• Able to read/speak English sufficiently for passenger interactions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers to/from airport terminals and TPS parking.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Greet customers and assist with luggage with a smile.
• Provide pleasant customer service throughout the trip.
• Demonstrate facility and terminal knowledge to guests.
• Cooperate with team to deliver best service.
• May cross-train for other frontline roles as directed.
• Comply with regulations governing commercial vehicle operation.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management.

Pay Rate: $12 per hour (plus tips - cash and mobile) with regular bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities of Shuttle Drivers:

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
• Perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
• Provide pleasant customer service
• Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
• Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
• May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
• Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience of Shuttle Drivers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school education or equivalent
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
• Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
• Currently holds the applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
• Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
• Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations that require these skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation
