Job summary

The Parking Spot is hiring a Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL) for Evening & Overnight shifts in a full-time role. You will transport customers between the parking facility and the airport, provide friendly service, and help ensure safety and smooth operations.

Qualified candidates are at least 21 with high school education or equivalent, a safe driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Benefits include medical options and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Currently holds and maintains a satisfactory driving record.
• Possesses licenses/badges required to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Willing to pass a physical per airport/DOT/state regulations.
• Able to read/speak English well for interactions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers between parking locations and the airport.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; assist with luggage.
• Provide courteous customer service and product knowledge.
• Maintain awareness of facility and airport terminal layouts.
• Collaborate with team to deliver excellent service.
• Cross-train for other frontline roles as directed by management.
• Comply with regulations governing commercial vehicles.

Pay Rate: $14.25 per hour (plus tips - cash and mobile)

Key Responsibilities of Shuttle Drivers:

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
• Perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsGreet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
• Provide pleasant customer service
• Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
• Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
• May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
• Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience of Shuttle Drivers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school education or equivalent
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
• Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
• Currently holds the applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
• Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
• Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations that require these skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation
