Job summary

US Foods in Norcross, GA is looking for a full-time driver to operate tractor-trailers, delivering a range of products to remote dispatch sites. You will be responsible for safe driving and completing pre- and post-trip inspections, with additional backhaul or delivery duties as needed.

The role offers a starting pay of $20.40 per hour plus component pay, with Sunday–Thursday scheduling and a start time between 2 PM and 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• 6 months commercial driving experience required.

What You Bring to the Table

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• 6 months commercial driving experience required
• Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
• Must be comfortable working overnight
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $20.40 and $33.00 per hour. As applicable, this role will also receive component pay (i.e., mileage, stops).
