Position Summary
The Driver is responsible for ensuring 100% guest satisfaction by operating the courtesy shuttle, providing transportation to and from local destinations for our guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating hotel shuttle service to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.
- Greeting guests and welcoming them to the hotel city.
- Keeping updated on hotel services and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Handling guest complaints and comments promptly to achieve full satisfaction.
- Driving shuttle to pick-up and drop-off guests on request or schedule, following airport procedures and traffic laws.
- Logging trips and retaining fuel receipts as per hotel procedures.
- Loading and unloading guest luggage, transporting it to guest rooms when required.
- Maintaining communication with the front office and other drivers via radio.
- Performing additional duties to support hotel operations, including cleaning and maintenance of the lobby area when not driving.
- Assisting with arranging taxi or other transportation services outside shuttle hours.
- Ensuring shuttle is fueled and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Gathering materials or supplies for departments as needed.
- Providing genuine hospitality, exceeding guest expectations, and demonstrating teamwork and responsibility.
- Listening and empathizing with guest concerns, finding solutions, and following through.
- Performing other duties necessary to uphold service standards and hospitality values.
Requirements and Skills:
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Adherence to hotel policies and safety practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
- Valid state driver's license with no restrictions for shuttle operation.
- Ability to meet airport certification requirements for shuttle operation.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit or stand for entire shifts.
- Ability to drive for extended periods, frequently stopping and exiting the vehicle.
- Regular walking and lifting, with the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
