Job summary

Holiday Inn KCI Airport/KCI Expo Center/Atwell Suites KCI is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport guests to and from Kansas City International Airport and nearby locations within a 5-mile radius. The part-time role features morning shifts, Sundays required, and potential overtime, with responsibilities including vehicle maintenance, fueling, and log completion.

Candidates must have a valid Class E license, be able to pass a background check and MVR, and maintain guest comfort and safety

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in transportation or van driver position preferred.
• Must have a valid Class E license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and an MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Hotel vans/equipment, ensuring all are clean, safe to operate, and meet local, state, and federal requirements.
• Keep equipment/vehicles fueled and ready to go at all times.
• Maintain maintenance logs and driving logs as required by the state.
• Obtain and keep a valid Class E license as required by the State of Missouri for the transportation of guests in Holiday Inn KCI vehicles.
• Follow all Hotel safety policies and procedures, and adhere to the Company Vehicles Policy at all times.
• Empty exterior trash cans and ash trays in front of the hotel and keep these trash cans clean and free of marks or stains.
• Help maintain market and coffee stations in the lobby area, restocking items as needed; assist in rotating stock to ensure the oldest items are sold first, and all expired items are pulled.

Overview:

We are seeking a Shuttle Driver who will be responsible for safely transporting guests to and from KCI International Airport and other locations within a 5-mile radius of Holiday Inn KCI and Atwell Suites KCI in a friendly, efficient, and timely manner.

Schedule (part-time, hours/days may vary):

• Roughly 16-24 hours/week (2-3 shifts), dependent upon operational needs
• Primarily morning shift, 7am-3pm, with the possibility of covering afternoon/evening shifts as needed
• Sundays required
• Holidays
• Overtime
• Weekday availability
• Weekend availability

• Ask for feedback from supervisors and provide feedback as needed; be open and willing to take directions and/or make changes to job performance as needed.
• Engage guests at all opportunities to build a level of comfort between the guest and our property, instilling a "Home Away From Home" comfort during their stay.
• Understand and respond to customer’s needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
