Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Shuttle Truck Driver to operate a tractor-trailer between distribution centers and shuttle yards. The role involves swapping loaded and empty trailers, performing safety checks, and maintaining accurate delivery paperwork.

You must be at least 21 with a valid CDL-A and the appropriate endorsements, plus 6 months of trucking experience or 3 months in foodservice deliveries. Base pay starts at $25.55 per hour with mileage incentives; overnight shifts are not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid CDL A issued by state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualified.
• Minimum six months commercial truck driving experience or three months foodservice/food and beverage truck delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Check route numbers and account numbers for all deliveries.
• Move tractor to loading dock to attach pre-loaded trailer and/or second trailer.
• Hook trailers and safely connect connections; log time with Electronic Time Keeping System.
• Perform safety checks on the truck and trailer; fuel as required and park tractor securely.
• Shuttling trailers between distribution center and shuttle yards; verify paperwork for returns.
