Job summary

Qualifications

• CDL preferred; bus driving or paratransit experience is a plus.
• Experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when assisting passengers or handling luggage.
• A commitment to safety and the ability to navigate various driving conditions confidently.
• Flexibility in work hours, including availability for early morning or late evening shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including vans and buses, following traffic laws.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections.
• Communicate schedules, routes, and changes to passengers.
• Assist passengers with boarding and luggage handling.
• Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs per established schedules.
• Provide courteous customer service addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Keep accurate trip records including mileage and passenger counts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including vans and buses, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in service.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including lifting and handling heavy luggage
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off at designated locations while adhering to established schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger counts.
