Job summary

Propark Mobility is hiring part-time Shuttle Drivers in Commerce City, CO, to operate shuttle buses, greet passengers, and assist with loading and unloading. Roles involve safe driving, simple inspections, and effective communication with dispatch using radios.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and assists with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus safely and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctions or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, arrivals and delays, coordinating the pickup of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Must haves

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years.
• You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
• You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Good to haves

• Customer service 1 year+
• Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle 1 year+

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Physical Demands as part of performing the duties associated with this position, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
