Job summary

Thomas Tire & Automotive in Burlington, NC is seeking a reliable Shuttle Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for customers between the service center and their daily routines. You will help support shop operations while delivering excellent service.

This role involves loading and unloading tires and parts, coordinating with the service team, and keeping vehicles clean and compliant with safety policies. Weekly pay and a 401(k) plan are provided.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with loading and unloading tires, wheels and automotive parts.
• Provide excellent, professional customer service to every customer.
• Coordinate with the service department for pick-up and drop-off times and keep delivery records.
• Retrieve parts and tires from the warehouse for the shop as needed.
• Maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle and adhere to safety policies.

As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience by bridging the gap between our service center and our customers' busy lives. This position would work 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the safety and satisfaction of our passengers while supporting our shop operations:

Assisting : With loading and unloading tires, wheels and automotive parts.

Customer Service: Provide excellent, professional service to every customer to maintain high service department standards.

Logistics & Communication: Coordinate effectively with the service department for pick-up and drop-off times and keep accurate records of deliveries

Shop Support: Retrieve parts and tires from the warehouse for the shop as needed.

Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
