The part-time Shuttle Driver ensures the delivery of the brand promise and provides excellent guest service at all times.
What you will be doing
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Escort incoming hotel guests to rooms, assist with hand luggage, and offer information about hotel services, facilities, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure furnishings are in order and supplies are adequate.
- Explain features of the room such as operation of radio, television, night-lock, and telephone calls.
- Page guests in lobby, dining room, or other parts of the hotel.
- Deliver messages and run errands.
- Deliver room service orders.
- Pick up articles for laundry and valet service.
- Call taxis for guests.
- Transport guests around the premises or local areas using a car or motorized cart.
- Keep records of calls for service.
- Deliver packages, suitcases, trunks, and set up sample rooms.
- Clean lobby areas (ashtrays, dry mop, trash, etc.).
- Clean and vacuum inside of vans at least once a day.
- Assist in picking up room service trays from hallways around the property.
- Assist with group tour luggage requirements.
- Uniform and name tag must be worn at all times.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Effective in presenting information one-on-one and in small groups to customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with numbers up to 100 and using units of American currency, weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Clean driving record.
- Less than high school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
