Job Description

Job Title: Service Shuttle Driver

Reports To: Service Manager

Exempt or Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Full-Time or Part-Time: Full Time/Part Time

Job Summary

Primary responsibility for delivery and pickup of customer trucks from/to shop.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver trucks to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Pickup trucks for repair from customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Maintain clean and safe shuttle trucks.
• Obtain signatures for proof of deliveries if required.

In addition, the employee is expected to exercise honesty, integrity, and respect with clients and co-workers, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively, work accurately and efficiently, respect the work environment, and exercise initiative to learn new skills and assist co-workers. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet company standards for a clean driving record.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CDL license and current medical card required.

Machines/Tools/Equipment

• Basic office equipment (copier, calculator, fax, etc.).

Working Conditions

• Primarily a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Significant day travel in trucks.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, walking durations and requirements.
• Talking, hearing, vision requirements.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds, with specific distances and frequencies.

Other Essential Job Duties

Includes activities like balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, reaching, handling, fingering, and feeling, with specified frequency levels.
