Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia seeks a Shuttle Bus Driver for seasonal work. You will operate resort vehicles, perform pre/post trip inspections, maintain safety and guest information, and support smooth operations during mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements include a valid Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement, a current medical card, and the ability to pass Snowshoe's driving program. Eligible employees receive medical benefits, 401k, and significant resort discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet resort vehicle requirements.
• Must hold a Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement.
• Must maintain a valid medical card and pass a drug/alcohol screen.
• Experience delivering excellent guest service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the resort vehicle according to routes and schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log defects.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Provide information and assistance to guests as a tour guide.
• Participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required.
• Attend required meetings and adhere to safety guidelines.

Seasonal: Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year.

Start Date: The end of November and beginning of December with positions available throughout the season.

Job Responsibilities

• Driving the resort vehicle (license type-dependent)
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logging defects, and arranging repairs
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
• Being knowledgeable about the resort and providing informational literature
• Participating in random drug and alcohol testing
• Using radios according to guidelines and etiquette
• Adhering to established routes
• Providing excellent guest service as a tour guide
• Attending required meetings
• Driving: Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
• Applicant is required to have and maintain a minimum of a class B commercial driver's license with Passenger endorsement.
• Must keep and maintain a valid medical card
• Must participate in a random drug and alcohol-testing program
• Must be 21 years of age
