Job summary

Technica LLC is seeking a full time Shuttle Bus Driver to transport clients, trainees, or company personnel on a schedule. This is a temporary position for at least 5 months with potential to become permanent.

The role includes pre-trip inspections, operating 12- or 15-passenger vans, assisting passengers, and maintaining trip records. You must be able to work in all weather conditions in Alaska and meet safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have five years' experience driving in Alaska winter conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with customers.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Must maintain a driver's license (in good standing).
• Must be able to obtain and retain a Common Access Card (CAC) for base access.

Responsibilities

• Assists passengers and military units as required in all weather conditions.
• Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
• Complies with local, state, and federal traffic regulations.
• Inspects van unit per DOT regulations, including fuel, oil, and water checks.
• Drives 12 or 15 passenger vans to complete shuttle services 7 days a week.
• Abides by Shuttle Service Operations rules and reports delays, damage, or accidents.
• Performs pre-check inspections, record keeping, dispatching, maintaining, and refueling of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
