Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Shuttle Buggy Operator to support asphalt paving operations. You will safely operate a Shuttle Buggy (MTV) to transfer mix from haul trucks to the paver and maintain continuous material flow.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of heavy equipment experience, prefer Shuttle Buggy or MTV familiarity, and understand asphalt paving and roadway construction processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Previous Shuttle Buggy/MTV experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in asphalt paving or road construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Shuttle Buggy during asphalt paving operations.
• Transfer asphalt mix from haul trucks to the paver to maintain continuous flow.
• Coordinate with paver operators, truck drivers, foremen, and crews for efficient production.
• Perform inspections and document maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report malfunctions.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Support the paving crew to meet project goals.
