Job summary

Storm Smart is seeking an installer helper in Lake Worth, TX to assist with installing hurricane shutters per work orders and safety guidelines. You will help plan daily routes, ensure trucks are loaded with products, tools, and equipment, and report safety or quality concerns.

The role requires experience with residential hurricane shutters, ability to read blueprints, and strong communication to ensure high customer satisfaction. OSHA safety practices apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential hurricane shutters is helpful.
• Strong initiative and reliability; energetic and thorough.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read field drawings/blueprints is helpful.
• Ability to read a measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing Storm Shutters according to work order, manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with viewing the daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all products, tools, and equipment for the day.
• Assist with reporting safety, customer, or quality concerns.
• Interact with customers in a professional manner and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and document obstacles.
• Follow OSHA safety standard practices.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
