SA Recycling is seeking a highly skilled Shredder Operations Manager to lead our shredder facility in Phenix City. You will oversee the daily operations, Protduction maintenance, and safety of our scrap metal shredder and downstream processing equipment. The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical background and proven leadership skills to drive safety, production efficiency, and equipment reliability.

Salary Is Based Upon Experience.

Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Direct daily shredder production to meet efficiency and volume targets
• Maintenance & Reliability: Oversee preventative maintenance and quick resolution of mechanical issues.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical background with advanced troubleshooting abilities
• System Knowledge: Proven experience with downstream equipment and processing systems
• Industry Background: Prior experience in the scrap metal recycling industry is highly preferred
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team
• Must complete pre employment physical and Drug screen
• Must pass background and credit check
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to work in both office and outdoor yard environments in varying weather conditions.

• Equipment & Tools: Office equipment, general tools, and training with mobile equipment

• Work Capacity: Lifting & carrying 35lb loads, head turning, bending.
