Responsibilities

• Ensure scheduled repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines and equipment are completed on time.
• Coordinate and direct maintenance activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines or equipment.
• Direct maintenance on utility systems to ensure continuous heat, steam, power, gas, or air supply.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs with engineering and maintenance staff.
• Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with standards; propose improvements.
• Discuss equipment needs with design engineers and obtain quotes for tools and projects.
• Manage budgets and control costs; supervise and motivate maintenance staff.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies; handle personnel matters as needed.
