Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent design degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail sales or customer service experience.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive—willing to take the extra step.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their orders.
• Promote the Bedrosians product line.
• Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines.
• Develop relationships with industry professionals to increase business.
• Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures.
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace.
• Assist with conducting inventory counts.
• Maintain showroom and sample department organization and presentation.
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits if required.
• Review on order report daily.
• Meet monthly sales quotas.
• Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management.
• Work cooperatively in team environment.
• Participate in weekly branch meetings.
• Write thank-you notes to clients.
• Upsell clients when possible.
• Focus on increasing sales to meet branch sales plan.
• Work within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals and directives.
